Already before noon thunderstorm started to sprout in the mountanious region of central germany. In the last hour these cells quickly intensified and now are moving westward.

the current radar image shows especially high reflectivity between Hamm and Paderborn, currently still south of a line Düsseldorf-Hagen-Meschede. There is a high possibility of hail in these thunderstorms.

In the Sauerland region there are the first reports of intense thunderstorms that have high lighning rates and severe rain ammounts.
